    Miss Trans Queen India is the first-ever Pageant in India that has been curated particularly for Trans Women. Grievously Beauty Pageants in our country are Trans-Exclusive; it does not include trans-women in their selection criteria. This shows the ostracism and prejudices Trans women are still facing in the mainstream industry. Our main motto is INCLUSIVITY, to fight the Stereotypical Beauty Standards and Include Trans Women of every height, complexion, hair and size. Our show consists of constructive grooming sessions by well-known professional mentors from the industry such as Ms Rita Gangwani, Mx Akkash K. Aggarwaal, Ms Shaine Soni, Dr. Varun Katyal, Ms Amruta Soni along with insightful political discussions on

Future plan for two years through the Project

    - Gender Sensitization Workshops

    Today, we may not be able to change the unjust scenario in a matter of short time, but we can definitely improve the circumstances in the future by watering the seedling plants with healthy compose and fertilizers. That is why Team DAEF is holding Gender Sensitisation Seminars at various Educational Institutions that nurture our future leads and stakeholders of development.

    We have visited Hindu College, College of Vocational Studies, Motilal Nehru College, O.P. Jindal Global University, Tagore International School, Gaur Cascade Residency, Deshbandhu College, Aryabhatta College, Atmaram College, Hansraj College, Dyal Singh College, JIMS Professional Institution, VIPS Professional Institution, RPS Public School, St. Anthony Girls School, Punjab Police Academy, International Institute of Fashion Academy and many more.

    We also have our own created campaigns to shed light upon LGBTQIA+ Issues that matter in our society.

    #WhyNotMe: Campaign to raise awareness towards the absence of transwomen in the Bollywood industry. ‘Why Not Me’ is a question to the mainstream casting directors.

    - Cultural Events

    Miss Trans Queen India : -

    Miss Trans Queen India is the first-ever Pageant in India that has been curated particularly for Trans Women. This shows the ostracism and prejudices Trans women are still facing in the mainstream industry. Our main motto is INCLUSIVITY, to fight the Stereotypical Beauty Standards and Include Trans Women of every height, complexion, hair and size.

    This platform is an answer and solution to all the Casting Directors in the mainstream media who are not able to scout the Talent within the Trans Community and thus pass on the opportunities to cisgender people. Miss Trans Queen India is a platform to raise the scope of trans visibility and acceptance in the Fashion & Beauty Industry.

    It is a 3-day event consisting of exciting rounds for Talent, State Costume, Glam Gown along with constructive grooming sessions by well-known professional mentors from the industry such as Ms Rita Gangwani, Mx Akkash K. Aggarwaal, Ms Shaine Soni, Dr. Varun Katyal, Ms Amruta Soni and some insightful political discussions on What are your rights as a Trans Person in India, How we can implement the lives of Trans Community, How to be a representative and a spokesperson of the community, etc.

    The winner of Miss Trans Queen India further goes on the International Platform: Miss International Queen in Thailand to Represent our Country.

    Satrangi Ustav/ Over The Rainbow : -

    A Grand celebration of LGBTQIA+ Culture and Diversity.

    Satrangi Utsav is a mega colorful event to simply create a healthy conversation surrounding the LGBTQIA+ Issues, Bring Visibility to Queer Talent, Raise funds for Deepa Ardnareshwar Empowerment Foundation that is constantly working towards providing space and food to those LGBTQIA+ Individuals who have thrown out of their home due to receiving ill-treatment on the grounds of their sexuality or gender.

    The Satarngi Utsav will have the following sessions in a well-sequenced manner.

    - Kalaa-Manch:Cultural Performance from various queer artists pan India.

    - Walk for a Cause: Walk for a cause. Raise funds for DAEF.

    - Vichar-Vimarsh:Panel Discussion of eminent personalities about the LGBTQIA+ issues that affects the community. Q&A Session.

    - Felicitation of Activists who have done incredible work for the LGBTQIA+ community.

    - Chat Show - Inauguration.

    - Employment Opportunities

    Our team also works on providing Job & Employment to the people of LGBTQIA+ Communities in Queer-Friendly organizations. Companies that treat anyone based on their gender, sexuality, ethnicity, complexion or any other factor of identity.

    - Our Space

    One of our biggest is projects is “Our Space’.

    This project is about providing space and food to those LGBTQIA+ Individuals who have thrown out of their homes due to receiving ill-treatment on the grounds of their sexuality or gender.

    It about granting them home until they finish their education, gain employment and become an independent people.
